Co-founder of Conflictus Conflict Resolution Training and Consultancy
Elif Kalan is one of the co-founders of Conflictus Conflict Resolution Training and Consultancy (www.uyusmazlikcozumu.com) based in Istanbul. Her main expertise includes designing, planning, implementing and following up conflict analysis and resolution processes and 3rd party interventions. With this, she has worked with various national and nternational organizations such as UNICEF, UNIDO, IMC, GIZ, Ret International; academics at Sabancı University, Coventry University, Bilgi Univesity as well as local and national public institutions.
She is now one of the leading trainer at Young Mediators as Game Changers program with Tunç Karaçay. This program aims at developing conflict resolution skills of young people in Syrian and host communities residing in Istanbul.
She is also one of the co-founders of www.ihtiyacharitasi.org which is an online platform aims to create social good through technology engagement with community. The platform is designed as social entrepreneurship model that brings people and institutions that are in need of materials and volunteers and those who can support these needs.
Ms. Kalan studied on Political Science and International Relations at Marmara University, holds MA degree on Conflict Analysis and Resolution from Sabancı University in Turkey and MSc degree on Political Sociology from London School of Economics and Social Sciences in London as a Jean-Monnet scholar.
