Senior Economist, Council of Europe Development Bank
Lucia Athenosy has been working as a Senior Economist with the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) since 2002.
Over the last eight years, Lucia has drafted several technical studies and working papers analysing the CEB’s experience and/or potential for future action in various fields such as migration, housing, local infrastructure, human capital, climate change, prisons and population ageing. Since last year, she has been working on how to address the CEB’s contribution to the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. In addition, Lucia is responsible for reporting to the OECD Development Assistance Committee on CEB financial flows to ODA recipients.
Ms. Athenosy holds a Master’s Degree in International Economics from Institut d’Etudes Politiques (IEP) de Paris. A Slovakian national, she speaks English and French.
