Nataliya Gumenyuk is a Ukrainian journalist specializing in foreign affairs and conflict reporting. She is the head of an independent TV channel, hromadske.ua and also manages Hromadske International en.hromadske.ua – a multimedia platform explaining Eastern European geopolitical dynamics in English and Russian for foreign audiences. Nataliya has reported on Maidan, and the conflict in Crimea and Donbas. Previously, she served as Head of the Foreign News Desk INTER, one of the most influential TV channels in Ukraine. As an independent, international correspondent, she has reported on major political and social events from nearly 50 countries. She has focused on post-Arab Spring developments, working in the Middle East and has published a book called ‘Maidan Tahrir’. She has also reported on the violence in Eastern Ukraine for foreign media such as Al Jazeera English, Monocle24, and CTV Canada.
