Senior Research Fellow, Overseas Development Institute
Samantha Attridge is a Senior Research Fellow at the Overseas Development Institute. She has a particular interest in innovative finance, mobilization of private capital and global economic and financial governance. She is currently leading ODI’s research on blended finance.
Prior to joining ODI, Ms. Attridge led the Commonwealth’s Financing for Development (FFD) policy research, development and advocacy work and has written extensively on these issues for the Commonwealth.
At the Commonwealth, Samantha also had policy and managerial responsibility for meetings of Commonwealth Central Bank Governors and Finance Ministers and the Commonwealth’s engagement with the G20. Prior to this, she was Capital Market Development consultancy at Crown Agents delivering technical assistance in sovereign debt, economic and public financial management. Samantha has a Masters in Development Economics and trained as a Chartered Accountant with Pricewaterhousecoopers and is ICAEW qualified.
